The iBioFoundry Platform
The iBioFoundry automation system consists of two complementary workcells. The iBioFAB workcell serves as a development platform, while the newly built iBioFoundry platform operates as a production system.
Both workcells are operated using Thermo Momentum™ scheduling software. Each platform features similar liquid handling systems, analytical equipment, and peripherals, making it easy to transfer protocols across workcells.
Workcell 1: iBioFoundry
Designed and built in 2024-2025, this platform is integrated using three robotic arms, and features a modular design.
