Vision

Advanced biofoundry research infrastructure

Understanding and addressing complex biological challenges require resources beyond what individual labs can provide. These challenges range from studying living systems and their interactions with human-made materials to ensuring broad access to scientific knowledge and products.

To tackle these issues, researchers need access to advanced technologies, automated systems, sophisticated instruments, and computing power. iBioFoundry brings together a uniquely qualified team with expertise in synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, AI/ML tools for biology, and laboratory automation.

At iBioFoundry, our vision is to enable broad access to a centralized facility equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory automation instruments and advanced high-throughput experimentation capabilities. Such infrastructure will enable scientists to address major biological challenges and transform their findings into practical applications that benefit society and serve national interests.
